. ...it must be Marburger! Many of you write me and want to know more about this show. The variety is mind blowing. Take a look at this very small sampling of antiques and prepare to reserve your hotel room for next Spring!
Kansas City native, Debbie Dusenberry, opened Curious Sofa in September of 2000. The shop specialized in comfortable furnishings, uncommon objects and offbeat gifts. With a love for curating products and an unorthodox way of display, Debbie led Curious Sofa to became one of the nation's top independent boutiques and a destination shop for customers from across the country.
For ten successful years, both Curious Sofa and Debbie's home were featured in many national, trade and local publications (see the press page) which led to a strong following on the shop's website, blog and Facebook.
In January of 2011, Debbie closed her store to focus on online sales through the Curious Sofa website. When she isn’t hunting for original goods at various antique shows across the country, Debbie spends her time managing the online store, design consulting, styling, and selling treasures large and small in the West Bottoms during First Friday at Top Hat Mercantile in Kansas City.
With a background in graphic design, photography, film production, props, set design, makeup and wardrobe styling, all her past lives have come full circle contributing to Curious Sofa today.
