Unloaded

A week of hard antiquing can be well... hard. Traveling may seem glamorous to some, but when you're pinching pennies and navigating a big rig in uncharted territory, it can be exhausting. What is fun is the week after. The truck in unloaded, the bruises and tired bones are healing and the store comes to life with all the wonderful one-of-kind goods that I hunted for. The staff is pleased and so am I. Although there was room left in the truck for an armoire or two, I still managed to find some much needed chairs, tables, pictures and chandeliers. Take a look around at some of my favorites (and so much more not shown, you'll just have to come in!)

Complete eye candy! Where were you when I lived in KC 12 years ago?? Darn! I worked at Kyoko Gallery in Westport way back when-- but no sign of the curious sofa. Everything in the shop looks lovely and all the pics of the drawers and files and bins!?! LOVE!

You found some great things. I should have followed you around. I did think I saw you at the Big Red Barn. Were you wearing your signature hat? I was too embarrassed to actually say hello. I did get some things and had them shipped home. Next time I will rent a truck. Shipping was expensive.

Kim you must always say hello! I met many blog readers at Round Top I would not have known otherwise.

Yes, I probably was wearing that poor old hat! It was much too early for me to get up and fluff the hair...

I so wish I lived closer.....Arizona is a little more than a day trip......but WOW I would love to visit your shop!!!!! You have such a good eye for things and ever since I saw your mannequin legs a couple years ago I have been on the search.....and I finally found some legs at a GOODWILL and now can't wait for Halloween to come....I probably ought to come up with some other ideas for my legs during the rest of the year.....maybe you have some!!! Anyway thank you for that idea and keep up the great job!!!!
