Whenever I see examples of fine handwriting I think of him and how he would draw 3 circles in the air before he put pen to paper. I'm lucky enough to have a geneaology chart he wrote for me and I treasure it! I love cursive writing and to let it go out of style is terrible! Guess that is because of the tech age. At least they have to learn the keyboard! My husband didn't know that and I ended up typing all his term papers in collage. I made sure my boys took "keyboarding" as typing was called in the 1980's.<br /><br />Saw your shop in Romantic Country -- how I wish I was closer to Kansas.Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10181746916174159501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28631804.post-29689262354813337082010-10-16T20:12:01.257-06:002010-10-16T20:12:01.257-06:00My late uncle did Spencerian Script and was consid...My late uncle did Spencerian Script and was considered to be a real master. He learned it in school in the 1920's. His name on his headstone is his Spencerian Script signature.<br /><br />One of the most talented artists doing Spencerian Script today is Mike Sull. He has given several courses at Paper Source in Kansas City. He learned from on old master who had him practice 4 hours each day. His work is magnificent, as his his resume.
