the store is absolutely beautiful! how inspiring it must be to work in such an environment - love everything about it - especially all the white - the smiling snowman among the trees is so enchanting - just so magically, the whole place - i also love the pic of the window shopper - what a wonderful way to end to evening with such an inspiring post - thank you..
beyond spectacular...all of it and all of you...congratulations for a fabulous Christmas shop...and best of luck through out this fun season! Merry Christmas from Just a bed of Roses in Utah!
Gosh I keep telling myself that I have all that I need, but how can I convince myself of that when I see adorable santas waiting to join the ones I already own? And those snowflakes on a stick, they are sooooo beautiful, even more so in person. I have a terrible case of the "I want"! What is a girl to do? Time to go check the couch cushions and see if I hit paydirt! Your store is spectacular!
excellent and passionate it all shows but bottom line is if sales can be revived and profits maintained only then will the music play! hope it all works out for you am rooting for you - srini
All of the pictures are wonderful, but when I saw the penguins I had to smile. They look so adorable all lined up in your display. I hope the holiday season is fruitful for your business this year.
Beautiful store and photos! I am so inspired...I have family that live in M.O. - and I will now have to make a small detour to see your store when I visit with them. I may need to paln a holidya trip to check out IN PERSON all the fabulous holiday trimmings!

For nearly 20 years, Debbie worked as a well respected photo stylist, hired by national and local photographers and directors for TV, film and photography. With a life-long passion for interior styling and antiquing, she eventually left that industry to open her first retail venture, Curious Sofa in 2000.
Debbie's eye for assembling a store with the unusual and her unorthodox way of display established Curious Sofa among the top small retailers in the U.S. Customers from across the country made their way to the store to attend seasonal events and see the latest in her distinctive shop style. Her website, blog, Facebook and Pinterest pages are among fan favorites for antique goods and artistic inspiration.
Dusenberry's store and home have been featured in national magazines such as Where Women Create, Country Living, Romantic Homes, Romantic Country, Elle and Travel & Leisure as well as many local Kansas City publications.
Debbie closed her brick & mortar store in 2011 to sell online at CuriousSofa.com only. In 2012 she opened a small booth at Lone Elm Antique Mall in Olathe, KS.
Today she can be seen producing magazine editorials, photo styling, graphic design, retail consulting and traveling to antique shows with her beloved Bichon, Pearl by her side.

that is so beautiful, you have a good team helping you. Wish we had a creative shop like yours in Perth Western Australia.
