My friend Carol just sent me a link on a new DIY show from Bronson Pinchot of all people. I have to tell you, I DIED! Seems Bronson has been an antique collector all his life and is currently renovating a home in Pennsylvania.

I watched his kitchen makeover episode on my computer and am headed to the DVR to catch every single episode now. WHY, WHY, WHY is this kind of stuff not on HGTV??? Nothing was repainted in hot pink or turquoise but instead lovely authentic neutrals were reused, salvaged and repurposed everywhere in his home and done with great taste too!!! More episodes here.
Grab a beverage and enjoy.

The only good shows on HGTV anymore are the ones with Sarah RIchardson and Genevieve Gorder. I only watch those shows through my DVR. I am bummed to see that I don't have this channel! I may have to call up and get it, though. Going to check out the show on the website.
Can you believe it Debbie??!! I LOVE the show...and Bronson is really a hoot! I've been DVR-ing the shows, there's just not that many episodes, I want more! His taste is amazing ~ xxoo, Dawn
Deb, I've been watching this since it started and I found it completely by accident one night looking for something to watch. One of my FAV shows!

Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to watch this. I had not seen this DIY network before. I am sure there is a lot of amazing things to see.
I watched it on my computer this morning. It was charmingly funny with a stunning finish to that room.
I can't wait to see more. I so hope they do another season. Thanks for sharing this with me.
Smiles,
Carol

I love this post! Just saw Bronson this morning being interviewed by Lara Spencer. I love what he's doing and that it's in his soul.
Thank you for the heads up on this show! Just watched a couple episodes and was so charming and funny. Here Here to more shows like this!
Just heard about this the other day. Will definately be checking it out!!
Thank you for posting about this show as it is really my new favorite now. He has great potenital and style and should be more accessible. I believe he "will" become much more. They were all on back to back Saturday so I got caught up. I went to the DIY site to see more videos of the show, and there is none there. Or I am not looking in the right place. Perhaps I will write some fan letters. It looks like he has a blog. He certianly loves what he is doing, and loves antiques and selvage,,,our kida guy! Thank you again, I am sending this post to all my friends!
Happy Decorating!

Ay-men, sistah! I am terribly disappointed in HGTV's seemingly "low budget" approach to programming--they're all about finding someone a house or apartment. The only shows I like are the Canadian ones--Sarah and Tommy and the boys with nice teeth. HGTV should have contacted Balki first.
I DVRd the Bronson Pinchot project originally because my mother had him as a student when she taught art in South Pasadena, CA...after teaching 30+ years she had always said he was her all-time favorite student. Although she was fairly oblivious to his acting career and rarely watches TV, I had her come over to watch a few episodes. We had such a great time. It is SUCH a great show, very entertaining. I can't wait for more!!
I LOOOOVE this show!!! I can't remember when I was last so excited to see a show! I run around hollering "Bronson Pinchot!!" when I know it is coming on. I can't wait to see the next episode. Give me MORE!!!! It is very entertaining and so wonderful to see him doing what he loves. I would love to be his neighbor!! Let's be honest, I'd be a complete pest! I'll just have to settle for being his biggest fan!!
Bronson has struck a wonderful nerve with many of us. I am completely content watching every rerun a hundred times too as it STILL out beats HGTV!!
And while watching him on the DIY network I stumbled upon THE REHAB ADDICT. Another good show who's host doesn't rig every thing or paint it pink, but uses salvaged materials. This gal is a gem as well.
