Her fans are many, her talents endless and I am humbled to call her a friend. Once again I made the pilgrimage to Fredericksburg, Texas to stand in amazement at the latest creation by Carol and Tim Bolton.
Off main street is an enormous warehouse that Tim and Carol have transformed into their latest antique museum, laboratory collection and retail emporium. I grabbed my camera to document this creation for you. Enjoy the trip.My favorite shot looking like some giant Tuscan villa.

Out of all the great stuff in this warehouse, the above wad of string and sketches was what I had to have.

Big sigh. Lucky you to go there and photograph this wonderful place! I tried to talk my husband on a little detour on our way to San Antonio this past January just so I could see it. But I didn't get my way.
Thanks for sharing your lovely photos!
these images are gorgeous...I can't travel to texas but am happy that I could experience it through your eyes...
Wow!!!!! What a neat place! I wish I could go there and see it all myself. Thanks for the photos!
What a wonderful looking place full of treasures. I am hoping to get to Round Top someday from Canada. Maybe next year. I need to save up for the shipping expenses to bring treasure home.
Wow...thanks for sharing!
Oh. My. Goodness. I just get lost in eash and every picture! What fun to go through, thank you gor taking us along. Oh the books the glorious books...how I love the smell of a library...I think I smelled it when I came to that picture. I love that.
I'm SO sorry that I missed you when you were here. I just live blocks away, and I'm there photographing the shop weekly.
Next time, I'm treating you to lunch! :-)
Hugs,
Anne
I have been watching some of the stores progress and almost feel like I have been there with all of your
photos. Thanks... looking forward to going to see
all the fun, interesting things that Carol has.

WONDERFUL Post.thanks for share..
OMG - being familiar with Carol's earlier design work from mag. articles, and her furniture line, THIS is absolutely amazing and I hope to get there one of these days! Is all that incredible collection of life's treasures available for retail sale Debbie? I love the reclining Santo figurine, the books, prints, Carol's well known stitched cushions, and yes - I'd be fighting you for that beautiful string, ha! ha! The taxidermied fox looks exactly like the very alive ones in my garden checking for a spot to raise a family again - 5 kits under the gazebo last year - and we are in the suburbs not the country!
So glad I stopped by to view your great images from Fredericksburg - I've been traveling again in southeast Asia -and am just now catching up.
Happy Spring dear - Mary (A Breath of Fresh Air)
P.S. Pearl must have loved her visit too - she certainly is beautiful among those 'beasts'.
Of course, IT IS ALL FOR SALE!
I soooo wish I could have seen this in person! Just amazing!
Oh my gosh I totally want to go visit her shop! It looks just amazing!!
Thanks for this amazing post. We Texans should take advantage of this. I shared it on my FB page. Great photography work.
